How to reach  Palazzo Ducale, Genova

By train

There are two main train stations in Genova: Piazza Principe station and Brignole station. Click here to get the official train timetable.

By plane

Genova is served by the international Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Located west of the city, it connects Genova to the major european cities (Milan, Rome, Paris, London, Munich and Zurich). From Genova airport a shuttle service called VOLABUS provides a direct connection to downtown (Piazza de Ferrari, Principe and Brignole stations). Usually the bus leaves the airport every 30 minutes. Click here to get the complete Volabus timetable.
By car Four motorways reach Genova: two from North and one each from East and West. We suggest to leave the motorway at the exit.

Genova Ovest (arriving from North or West via A7, A10, A26 motorways; in particular from Geneva).

Genova Nervi (arriving from South or East via A12 motorway; this is the first exit named Genova) Then, in both cases, follow the direction signs for the City Centre.

Estense Castle Gala Dinner reception

The Organising Committee will be hosting a dinner reception  for delegates on the evening of 17th May at the ESTENSE CASTLE.

Seats at the dinner are still available.  Call ++ 39.010.255800 or email  congressi@asapnet.it  to register now.

Dinner will include a spectacular show of typical flag-flyers and Renaissance dances during the appetizer. After the show a typical dinner will be served in the magnificent halls of the Castle and music and dances will continue.

Ferrara finally rediscovers its spectacular castle. Built in 1385 by Niccolò II d’Este it took on its present-day form after several modifications. The qualities that make it so special are its elegance and the harmony of its forms, the towers and the drawbridges that recall the original fortress. Ferrara and its guests regain possession of the space and the charm of a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture, the undisputed icon of the entire territory and testimony to the portentous cultural project that the great Este family had planned for its lands.
